Mission

We prioritize collaborative goal-setting and offer tailored intervention plans, enabling our clients to achieve meaningful, self-defined personal goals. At Building Blocks, our core philosophy is centred on empowering every individual we work with. We achieve this through client-centred behavioural consultation, a highly personalized and empathetic approach that places the learner's needs, values, and strengths at the forefront of every intervention. Our fundamental mission is to demystify behaviour, striving to make the principles of behavioural science understandable and applicable to daily life for learners, families, and support teams alike. We believe that when behaviour is understood, positive change is achievable.
Our ultimate goal is effective teaching that goes beyond rote learning to foster genuine growth and independence. This teaching is dedicated to building essential skills, which critically include self-advocacy and understanding. We equip our learners with the tools to communicate their needs, assert their boundaries, and comprehend the world around them, ensuring they are active participants in their own lives. By meticulously focusing on each learner's strengths, we don't just address challenges—we leverage existing abilities to build a foundation for lasting success and self-efficacy.
